Yup, now I'm 31. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, and to those who also did gift art for me. Wraith also wrote up a gift for me, which I love! :3 I'll link to the gift art below.

MSF High Stories: Azura's Inspiration Chapter 1
"History," Professor Darkrider began his class mere moments after the bell had rung, "is often presented as a series of facts in a line, but we must take care to see that it is more than that.  Though what has happened in the past is in many cases directly observable thanks to recordings, even that recording is from a single point of view.  When one neglects to take into account others' points of view, one risks ignoring the others' motivations.  Even in our own lives, we see things from only our perspective, and this tends to lead naturally to assumptions that someone is working off the same knowledge that you have.  In truth, there are very few people who do not believe that they are on the right side of any misunderstanding."  The tall, slender man raised his hand to point at the classroom's blackboard, his impeccable calligraphic chalk-writings listed with his instructions of the lesson from two days ago.  "One thousand words, a fictional journal entry MSF High Stories: Azura's Inspiration Chapter 2
"Well, it's not that I don't have any memories at all," Reuben spoke in a hushed voice as he placed a pair of notebooks from his backpack onto the table, "More that I can't remember specific details.  There was a fight between two groups, I know that much, and I had tried to settle things between them.  Whatever I said, it wasn't good enough for either side and they all pulled out the lasers they had brought in case the negotiations didn't work out.  I was literally in the middle of the crossfire, and the first clear memory is me waking up in my dorm room.  I'm not even sure Reuben's my original name."
For a moment, there was an awkward silence.  Punctuating it as gently as possible, Azura spoke.  "Well, at least you know that wherever you're from is advanced enough to have lasers, right?  That narrows it down at least a bit."  Her head-snakes all twisted away from her face, embarrassed at her poor attempt to lighten the mood.  Despite that, MSF High Stories: Azura's Inspiration Chapter 3
Azura tapped her pencil down on her sketchpad, slowly darkening the dot in the middle of the otherwise blank page.  Something wasn't right.  Saturday had come and gone in a whirlwind, leaving her with a flood of feelings.  It had been one of the best days she'd had in a while.  When she had arrived at the gallery, Reuben had already been there for at least half an hour, and had a number of questions about some of her works already.  Talking about her inspirations for those pieces, the processes that went behind them, and why they'd been put in their particular spots in the gallery had served as an excellent way to inspire her all over again, and the late lunch they shared in the mall's food court let her know exactly what she wanted to draw.  
In what she thought at first was the most embarrassing moment of her life, the sauce from the pasta she had ordered spilled over her only clean blouse, staining it with brownish-red splatters.  Before she had th MSF High Stories: Azura's Inspiration Chapter 4
It was Monday.  The final class of the day, History, was just beginning.  Azura had moved from her usual seat to one next to where she'd been used to seeing Reuben.  She had already discussed her plan with Miss Tulip-Blossom, who okayed Azura's request.  As the bell rang and most of the other students filed in, there was only one thing left to do.  This was going to be the hard part.  Azura was sure of what she had seen last night, and her room mate confirmed it, but she still wasn't sure of how she would convince Reuben of it.
Not that it appeared that it would matter.  Her Elven friend wasn't among the students in the classroom, and Professor Darkrider was standing up from his desk to walk around the classroom, picking up the weekend assignments.  Among her normal group, both of the young men began to panic until Eirrun produced a paper, apparently having done the work for the other two.  Other scenarios played out among other groups, incl
