Something I did on OC last night and just finished right now. Wanted to do something with more description behind it. Really like when it rains.. It used to relax me when hearing the sound of it. Also the sound of a river did the same. So both these things made this picture more comforting to do more then others..
The reason why I choose a skunk anthro is because Wraith likes them and I haven't drawn one for awhile. Also did more work on the BG. This made me want to do water colors again.. But because of lack of space in this camper and no flat surfaces. Nu can do.

very nice I like the paint on paper feel you gave it, also how it looks. I love rain, its relaxing, yet entertaining. When a thunderstorm rolls in people start heading inside, I head out, my head in the clouds... just how I am I guess.
I used to dislike rain. Then last summer, one of the driest on record for Southern Ontario, I learned to love it. Now at worst, I feel a begrudging happiness for it, and at best (like today after 3 days of humidexes over 40 Celsius and nights over 20 [a meteorological travesty!]), I welcome it with open arms. And rivers? Long as they don't harbour mosquitoes, they're great. But those damnable pests, grr...
Skunkies! Long as you keep your distance, they're beautiful beasts. I got to within 10 feet of one once, and got to see that rolling, shuffle-like gait. Lovely creatures.
What I wouldn't give to be in her position. It seems like an artist's dream - inspiring in all truth. Great pic.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
