Hi there! You're the one millionth person to whom I've had to explain that artwork takes a signifigant amount of time for which the artist deserves to be paid a fair amount! Congratulations, you win a sarcastic response. Wow, I bet that used 1st Gen Ipad will draw you anything you want forever, because a piece of consumer electronics is exactly equal to a custom piece of artwork!
wraith is right about that because the really old cartoons that were HAND DRAW like this takes time and MONEY about every second you see in a old cartoon it takes about 16 slides to put together thats about 750000 slides!!! and about 25,000 dollars and did i say that they drew it on GLASS THE SIZE OF UR SIDE CAR WINDOW!!!! so please never dis akuoreo please
it's just a digital art that you only let people see, how that is worth 250 i don't know. People like you get greedy too fast and im not sure where you live But where I live an unused ipad2 will cost me £150. wich is about $248. So I'd be much happier with an ipad2 than with a low framerate animation that isn't even smooth
I can spout random nonsense too, but it still doesn't mean that our work isn't worth anything for the time and skill we put into it. We've had this discussion before, and you were soundly defeated. Posting this sort of thing again comes across as trolling, so cut it out. You wouldn't go to a mechanic and say that since he likes cars, he shouldn't charge people to fix them. Do this again and you'll be blocked.
It's worth money, but not as much as you claim, you gotta keep realistic, i could charge the same amount for my sketches for the time i put into them, but i don't because that would be excessive. I'm sharing my opinion with other people if this opinion offends you then you shouldn't comment and leave it be, and as you can see by the reactions many people agree with me. I know you live off your art, but the prices you two ask isn't worth the quality you get
I personally would charge minimum labor (check local hourly rates) and then sell the piece using this formula: $7.50 (local minimum) times X, where X is number of hours spent on piece. I haven't actually done anything, since I just got Photoshop and Flash today, but between my ineptness towards finding qualified help, and my (this expletive has been summarily deleted. You may imagine one for yourself) equipment, I can imagine that it would take a bit of work to do what's been done here. 250 at 7.5/hour is 33.33 hours. (give or take, the calculator threw up an extra six or so of those threes) Assuming akuoreo has the same equipment and programs as I, and double the skill (experience), I could easily see it taking a day or more. 33 hours seems about right. Now that my expert side has had it's say, this was...what? between four and eight distinct stills?
